Itinerary
Upon arrival at Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA), you’ll be warmly welcomed by our representative before setting off on a scenic two-hour drive to Kundasang, nestled in the highlands of Sabah. Along the way, make a leisurely stop at Pekan Nabalu and the Kundasang Market, known for local produce, handmade souvenirs, and breathtaking views of Mount Kinabalu.
Check in to the cozy Kinabalu Pine Resort, then proceed to the renowned Desa Cattle Dairy Farm, fondly dubbed the "Mini New Zealand" of Sabah. Surrounded by rolling hills and grazing cows, this charming farm offers fresh dairy products, including gelato and milk (own expense), along with a chance to feed the calves and observe the milking process. (Note: Desa Farm visit may be rescheduled to Day 2, depending on timing.)
Return to the resort for a relaxing dinner and enjoy the cool highland air.

After breakfast, kick off your day with a visit to the Kg Marakau Bombon Fish Spa, where you’ll experience a natural foot spa as river fish gently nibble away dead skin. Continue your journey to the famous Poring Hot Springs, where you may catch sight of the rare and impressive Rafflesia flower (seasonal and entrance fees not included).
While at Poring, take a refreshing 20-minute hike to the Treetop Canopy Walkway, suspended 30 meters above the ground and stretching over 100 meters—a perfect way to view the rainforest from above. You can also soak in the sulphur-rich Japanese-style outdoor baths, renowned for their therapeutic benefits.
After lunch at a local restaurant, visit Kinabalu Park, Malaysia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the Mountain Garden, home to diverse flora, or take a short jungle trek if time permits. Return to the resort for dinner and a restful night.
