After breakfast at the resort, depart at 09:00 hrs for the renowned Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre. Witness the 10:00 AM feeding session and observe the orangutans in their semi-wild forest habitat. After the session, return to the resort to check out. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant before proceeding overland to Kinabatangan, one of Sabah’s most important wildlife corridors. Upon arrival at the jetty, take a 15-minute boat ride downriver to your jungle lodge. After checking in, take some time to relax before heading out for an evening river safari along the Kinabatangan River. During this cruise, keep an eye out for proboscis monkeys, pygmy elephants, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Kinabatangan Jungle Camp.

Following breakfast, enjoy some free time to soak in the tranquil surroundings until check-out. Take a 15-minute boat transfer back to the jetty, followed by an overland drive to Sandakan. En route, visit Puu Jih Shih Buddhist Temple, perched on a scenic hilltop and offering panoramic views of Sandakan Bay. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before being transferred to Sandakan Airport for your onward flight (note: airfare not included).
